Legacy School of Ministry Update - 2024-2025 School Year
Legacy Nashville Church
Eldership Board Memorandum
Date: July 27, 2024
Dear Legacy Family,
After much prayerful consideration and deliberation, we, the eldership board of Legacy Nashville Church, have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Legacy School of Ministry for the 2024-2025 academic year. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes after extensive evaluation of our church’s resources, strategic priorities, and the current needs of our congregation and community.
We acknowledge the significant impact that the Legacy School of Ministry has had on many lives, and we are deeply grateful for the dedication and passion of our students, faculty, and supporters over the years. The school has been a vital part of our mission to equip and empower believers to serve in various capacities within and beyond our church community.
However, after a reassessment of our ministry goals, we believe that this pause will allow us to better steward our resources and focus on other critical areas of growth and outreach.
We understand that this news may come as a disappointment to many, and we want to assure you that this decision is part of a broader strategy to enhance our overall ministry impact. We are committed to exploring new and innovative ways to continue fostering spiritual growth and development within our church.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that the inaugural Legacy Nashville Internship will still be going forward. This program is designed to provide hands-on ministry experience and leadership development for those who feel called to serve in various capacities within the church. We believe this internship will be a valuable opportunity for personal and spiritual growth.
We encourage those who were planning to participate in the Legacy School of Ministry this year to reach out to our LSM team or pastoral team for guidance and support in finding alternative opportunities for spiritual education and service.
Thank you for your understanding and continued faithfulness as we navigate this transition. We remain committed to our mission of making disciples and advancing the Kingdom of God.
In His Service,
The Eldership Board
